Goldie Pops

Goldie-Pops are little jewels of Aotearoa Art that are affordable, framed, ready to hang, finished with touches of 24-carat pure gold leaf and soft metallic gold alloys.

Each piece begins with part of a fine art print that may be imperfect, or simply no longer whole, and is thoughtfully recycled and re-imagined through a slow, hands-on process in the art studio.

Inspired by age-old traditions of restoration through gold, Goldie-Pops celebrate the beauty of giving treasured materials another life.  Gentle irregularities, and makers' marks are part of the journey. Some frames are also crafted from offcuts - beautiful pieces of timber that deserve to continue their story.

Goldie-Pops are a joyful expression of making art in Aotearoa and embracing a quiet discipline of re-use within the art-practice.

Each work includes pure gold-leaf, is signed, dated, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
